Here are some common problems you may encounter while using QuickTime, and some suggested solutions:

Problem: Your browser doesn't recognize QuickTime and is displaying a broken plug-in icon.

Solution: Be sure that you're using version 3.0 or higher of the QuickTime software. Previous versions of QuickTime will not work.
Solution: Your system is missing one of the QuickTime components or not all of them are properly installed. You should try restarting your computer after installing.

Problem: The video clip stops and starts during playback or is taking too long to download.

Solution: Let the video clip fully download before playing it. Videos can take a long time to download over the Internet; although we've produced all the video files so that they're as small as 600k in size, your Internet connection speed may affect the speed with which you can download and play QuickTime videos.

Problem: When you click on one of the video clips, you get a "File Not Found" message.
