Terms and Conditions:
OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY RULES (“OFFICIAL RULES”): NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The “South Carolina Travel – Win a Trip to Kiawah Island” (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Travelocity.com LP (“Sponsor”). Void where taxed, restricted or otherwise prohibited.
1. HOW TO ENTER:
All entries must be received between 12:01 a.m. Central Time on September 12, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. Central Time on October 12, 2008 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Here is how to enter:
To enter, visit the Travelocity.com Web site located at: http://leisure.travelocity.com/Promotions/0,,TRAVELOCITY|5003|mkt_main,00.html(the “Site”) during the Sweepstakes Period and complete the Official On-line Entry Form by providing the following information: first and last name, street address, city, state of residence, zip code, age, e-mail address and phone number. You need not enroll as a member of Travelocity.com in order to submit an entry. No entry fee, purchase or proof of payment is necessary to enter the Sweepstakes.
No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. Limit one (1) entry per person. For purposes of these Official Rules, “receipt” of an electronic entry occurs when Sponsor’s servers record the entry information upon clicking the “submit” (or similar) button. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the individual who is the registered holder of the e-mail account. Multiple entries by the same person, whether using one or more e-mail accounts, will not be accepted and may result in disqualification of all entries. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will result in disqualification. Entries are limited to individuals only; commercial enterprises and business entities are not eligible. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information by entrants; lost entries or transmissions; interrupted or unavailable network, server, or other connections; scrambled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic, technical malfunctions of the computer hardware, software, or any combination thereof; or problems associated with any virus or any other damage caused to entrants' systems. Incomplete entries will be voided. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

3. PRIZE DETAILS:
Grand Prize Winner will receive:
The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is Four Thousand Dollars and NO/00 ($4,000.00). Actual value of the prize may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure location and destination. All prizes claimed will be awarded. Prize cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash, or used in conjunction with any other competition or offer. Unless expressly indicated, all expenses associated with a prize or the uses of a prize are not included and will be the sole responsibility of winner. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute and or modify the prize with a prize of equal or greater value with immediate effect at any time prior to the closing date of the Sweepstakes by advertising that fact. Only one (1) prize is permitted per family or household.
4. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
Unless otherwise indicated, all travel plans for winner and any guest(s) must be made at one (1) time through Travelocity, within ninety (90) days of accepting the prize. Travel dates are subject to availability and holiday/blackout dates, must include a Saturday-night stay, and must be completed by September 30, 2009. If winner is unable to travel by date indicated, prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules from among the remaining eligible entries for that prize. Prize may not be transferred or assigned except by Sponsor. If trip includes international travel, customs and immigration require certain documents to travel to foreign country; it is the winner’s sole responsibility for winner and any guest to travel with the required documents. No refunds will be made if improper documentation or failure to comply with air carrier’s rules results in denied boarding or entry, and prizes will be forfeited. Unless otherwise designated, all air travel will be provided by an airline designated by Travelocity. Prizes, reservations, and airline tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-changeable once issued, and may not be used in conjunction with any other competition or offer. No refunds or credit changes are allowed. If tickets are lost, they will not be replaced. Credit for previous purchases is not permitted. All tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes. In addition, winner and guest(s) are responsible for any federal, state, and local tax consequences and for compliance with all governmental reporting and payment requirements.
5. WINNER SELECTION:
Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Drawing will be held by Sponsor, on or about October 15, 2008. All decisions in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes made by Sponsor are final. Odds of winning depend solely on the total number of valid entries received. Winner will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone promptly following drawing.
6. GENERAL RULES & CONDITIONS:
By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Winners will be required to sign and complete an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, and where permitted by law, a Publicity Release (collectively the “Release Forms”). The Release Forms must be completed, signed and notarized and returned within seven (7) days of receipt of attempted delivery to receive the specified prize, otherwise the specified prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules from among the remaining eligible entries for that prize. Each guest of a winner must complete, sign and return a Travel Companion Liability Release, and where permitted by law, a Publicity Release (collectively, the “Travel Companion Release Forms”) prior to issuance of travel documents. The Travel Companion Release Forms must be notarized. If any guest is a minor, minor must have a parent or legal guardian sign the documents on the minor’s behalf and the minor must be accompanied by such parent or legal guardian. Winner will also be required to provide their social security number to Sponsor or complete an IRS W-9 Form prior to issuance of travel documents. Failure to do so winner will be disqualified and the specified prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules from among the remaining eligible entries for that prize. Sponsor will not use winner’s social security number for any other purpose but to comply with IRS reporting requirements and will not disclose to any third party other than the IRS without winner’s prior written consent. Each entrant acknowledges that any information provided by entrant may be disclosed to Sponsor(s), and that Sponsor(s) may send marketing communications to entrants in accordance with each entrant’s “opt-in” selection. Winner gives Sponsor the right to use winner's name, voice, picture, portrait and likeness for advertising and promotion purposes without further compensation, where permitted by law. These Official Rules and all matters related to the Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under, or related to, the Sweepstakes must be brought in the federal or state courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
7. FORFEITURE OF PRIZE/SELECTION OF ALTERNATE WINNER:
Forfeiture of prize and the selection of an alternate (provided sufficient eligible entries are received) winner may result from any of the following: (1) a potential winner does not respond to a notification email or phone call (with all requested information) within the required time; (2) an email notification is returned as undeliverable after three (3) attempts; (3) the failure of a potential winner to complete, sign, notarize and return required Release Forms/Travel Companion Release Forms (and any other documents, if requested) within the required time; (4) any prize notification/documentation/prize returned as undeliverable for any reason; (5) a potential winner is ineligible or cannot be notified or contacted; (6) a potential winner's inability to provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry (if requested); (7) failure to respond to any other required time periods; (8) any other non-compliance with the Official Rules. Proof of response by a potential winner does not constitute proof of receipt by Sponsor. In all instances in which Sponsor notifies, or seeks to deliver a prize or otherwise attempts to contact an alternate winner, if such alternate winner is unavailable or disqualified or if the prize is returned as undeliverable within the time frames otherwise allotted for the initially selected winner, then Sponsor may use its judgment to determine disposition of the prize (randomly select another Entrant, donate the prize or forfeit and not award the prize) in Sponsor's sole discretion. Forfeited prizes may not be awarded. Sponsor not obligated to leave voice mail, answering machine or other message.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
SPONSOR, AND ITS PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, SHAREHOLDERS, EMPLOYEES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES INVOLVED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANT FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR LIABILITY TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, BY REASON OF ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, OR WHILE PREPARING FOR, PARTICIPATING IN, AND/OR TRAVELING TO AND FROM ANY PRIZE-RELATED ACTIVITY. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred not to exceed $4,000.00, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes.
9. TAMPERING:
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes for any reason, including if: (a) viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, fraud, technical failure or other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes; or (b) earthquake, flood, fire, storm or other natural disaster, act of god, labor controversy or threat thereof, civil disturbance or commotion, terrorism, disruption of the public markets, war or armed conflict (whether or not officially declared). In such event, the prize winners will be selected by Sponsor by a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension, or in such other fashion as shall be considered equitable in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives. Sponsor and its promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by the Sponsor, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user’s system or limit a participant’s ability to participate in the Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

- Three (3) nights’ accommodations for two (2) at ResortQuest Kiawah Island in a 3-bedroom non-oceanfront villa (subject to availability; holiday/black-out dates and must include Saturday-night stay).
