Under the Gulf Beach Guarantee, if a government agency closes a beach within 20 miles of your hotel before or during your trip, you can receive a refund for your unused nights. Don’t worry. We’ll notify you immediately if the beach near your resort closes.

FL-Gulf How We’re Helping
Travelocity employees are hosting a donation drive to benefit the National Wildlife Federation. Supplies like sunscreen, clipboards, and pens will be used by volunteers to monitor and aid impacted wildlife. Plus, we’re working hard to help promote our Gulf of Mexico tourism partners. We know the positive impact travel can have on a destination in need.
How You Can Help
You can donate time, money, or supplies to help in the oil spill recovery effort. If you live nearby, you can sign up to volunteer with the Audubon Society or the National Wildlife Federation. And there are many worthy organizations accepting donations: LA Gulf Response, National Wildlife Federation, Audubon Society, and The Nature Conservancy.
Plus, the National Wildlife Federation is collecting the following items to help build response kits for volunteers:
- Clipboards
- Laminate sheets or machine
- Sunscreen
- Gas cards
- Water Bottles
- Backpacks
- Bug repellent or jackets
- Hats
- Pens

- The Gulf Beach Guarantee offer is only valid on standalone Hotel bookings. It is not valid on Flight + Hotel packages.
- The booking must be made on Travelocity or our affiliate partners.
- The Gulf Beach Guarantee is valid only on stays now through September 30, 2010.
- If a government agency closes a beach within 20 miles of the property over the dates of travel, the customer is eligible to request and receive a refund for any/all unused nights.
- The Gulf Beach Guarantee offer is valid for in-hotel guests as well as guests who have yet to travel.
- To be eligible, guests must cancel with Travelocity by contacting us at 888.Travelocity(888.872.8356). Cancellations must be made prior to travel or prior to checkout. No-shows will NOT be valid for refunds.
- The penalty waiver is enforced only if the beach has actually been closed at the time of cancellation.
