May 11 to 15, 2011 in San Antonio

At this year's Culinaria Festival, discover food, wine, spirits, and an abundance of fun. Five days of events feature some of San Antonio's hottest and hippest chefs and locations, and you're invited to join the celebration.

Set against the backdrop of San Antonio's unique Spanish Colonial architecture and celebrated River Walk, Culinaria explores the city's Latin and European culinary and cultural roots as well as wines with world-class credentials.

There will be formal dinners and casual luncheons, tequila and Texas produce tastings, cooking classes extraordinaire, chocolate and champagne pairings, and a wide array of events and activities for connoisseurs and amateurs alike.

Sample haute cuisine, sip tasty beverages, and enjoy live music at the Best of Mexico event on Friday, May 13 at the Villita Assembly Building. Winners from the first-ever Tequila Competition for Culinaria will also be revealed at this event.

On Saturday, May 14, taste all that's hot in San Antonio at the Grand Tasting, which incorporates the largest number of chefs and restaurants along with a fine wine selection. Add live entertainment and a silent auction, and you have the perfect date-night activity or the opportunity to indulge in some of San Antonio's best cuisine.

Sunday, May 15, concludes the long weekend of events with Burgers, BBQ, & Beer at The Pearl. From local hangouts to the finest dining establishments, everyone offers up their best version of the classic backyard fare.

Hoist your glass, fill your plate, and toast San Antonio's legacy and future this May 11 to 15, 2011.
