This charming, casual beach resort is an idyllic, adults-only getaway for singles, couples, and partners looking for a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere. The all-inclusive price means that meals, drinks, and entertainment are taken care of, so that guests can fully enjoy the Jamaican atmosphere. Located in beautiful Runaway Bay, Club Ambiance is close to the spot where Christopher Columbus discovered the island in 1492.
The hotel’s two beach areas offer lounge chairs and thatched sunshades, and one of the beaches has hammocks strung up between the palms. Beach activities include volleyball, kayaking, or exploring the reefs on a snorkeling expedition. On the property, the daily water exercises and basketball take place in the inviting pool, and other activities include aerobics, bicycle tours, exercise room, and paddle tennis. Diving and golf are within close range of the hotel, and guests can also participate in excursions around the island for an additional fee.
Guests can choose from indoor and outdoor dining at the on-site restaurants, which feature various dinner theme nights, changing menus, and sometimes live music. Games, from darts to dice, take place in the Ocean’s Club, which features a large-screen television and expansive views of the Caribbean Sea. The pool bar serves daytime drinks, and there’s always a great Bob Marley tune playing at the pier bar, surrounded by the sea. At night, guests can get their groove on to live island tunes performed by the resident band, and the Safari disco is open until the wee hours.

The resort consists of five room blocks, none of which is taller than two stories. All rooms are decorated in vibrant island colors, and face the sweeping Caribbean sea.
- In-room amenities include balcony or patio, air conditioning, bathtub-shower combination, cable television, ironing board, and safe deposit box.
- Available room types, listed in order from least to most expensive, include:
- Standard: These brightly decorated air-conditioned rooms all have ocean views from the patio or balcony. Rooms accommodate up to three adults in one king or two double beds.
- Deluxe: These room accommodate up to two adults in one four-poster king bed, and feature refrigerator and coffee maker in addition to the Standard Room amenities. All Deluxe Rooms are located on the first floor directly overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
