The picturesque rugged point at the confluence of Negril’s famous Seven-Mile Beach and
Bloody Bay Beach lends its name to this lovely oceanfront resort. These two gorgeous white-sand beaches provide a wealth of water sports activities for guests at Point Village Resort. The water sports shop rents equipment for snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking and windsurfing. The shop’s staff conducts free morning lessons in sunfish sailing and windsurfing and a free weekly scuba clinic every Wednesday. Underwater voyeurs loathe to donning mask and flippers can partake in the daily glassbottom boat tours while snorkelers can peek under the turquoise waves in the numerous grottoes formed by the area’s stunning cliffs. Point Village Resort also features a freshwater swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and two natural saltwater rock pools. Land sports include beach volleyball and tennis. Families will delight in the Children’s Center, which features supervision and educational activities such as sandcastle building contests, treasure hunts, and calypso dance lessons. Point Village Resort offers several dining options and three bars for cocktails and entertainment. The Village Connection Restaurant offers buffet and à la carte meals three times a day. For al fresco dining overlooking the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea guests can choose from the Sundrenched Bar and Grill for lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks or the Paradise Garden Café for snacks and dinner.
