Emerald Tower rooms have a casually warm, art deco decor and ceramic tile bathrooms. The Deluxe rooms in the Grand Tower are 450 square feet in size and were completely redesigned and remodeled in 2000 to look as though a hotel guest is staying in a studio bungalow of their favorite MGM Studio's movie star. Consistently art deco in feeling, the room's have tow schemes named after the two most famous MGM stars of the '30's and '40's: Clark Gable and Jean Harlow. The Gable scheme features dark woods, textured wall coverings and massive, masculine furnishings. The Harlow scheme highlights blonde woods, platinum metallic accents, and curvilinear chaise lounge and desk. The artwork in the rooms depicts studio shots of classic MGM stars, the famous MGM lion, and glamour shots of moire' recent MGM stars, adorned in 40s attire, to represent the "Golden Age of Hollywood."
