A 10-story replica of the Sphinx of Giza guards the entrance to this 350-foot black pyramid hotel. The world's brightest beam of light shines from atop the pyramid, piercing the desert sky at night. Once inside, visitors are greeted by a life-size replica of the great Temple of Ramses II. This magnificent Egyptian-themed hotel amazes guests with its attention to detail. Interior walls are adorned in colorful hieroglyphics and guests can visit King Tut's Tomb and Museum, which filled with reproductions of items found in the king's tomb.
The hotel's sprawling casino measures over 120,000 square feet. Tables for blackjack, baccarat, and pai gow can be found alongside slot machines, a poker room, race and sports book, and keno lounge. Between visits to the casino, guests can visit the Luxor Theater and catch the hit show Blue Man Group, an eclectically bizarre and astounding stage show that has won high critical acclaim. The IMAX Theatre offers a selection of new movies including some in 3-D. Guests can enjoy dinner at any one of the nine extraordinary restaurants and cafes inside the hotel. The 12,000-square-foot Oasis Spa offers 16 treatment rooms for facials, massages, and relaxing body treatments. It also offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment and a beauty salon. The hotel also features shopping in the Giza Galleria, and just outside the shops, a moving walkway takes guest to the Excalibur Hotel and Casino while a long hallway connects to Mandalay Bay.
The pool area is refreshing with four outdoor pools - one of them cascading aqua blue water from columns. Two outdoor spas are available to relax the tension away. Basque under the warm sun rays on the pool deck or enjoy one of the many cabanas for rent.
