Very good deal!

I stayed in the newly renovated tower and was extremely pleased. Price was great! The room had a view of the strip, marble counters, and a flat screen TV. The casino is a decent size with reasonable limits and a lot of table games. The pool and hottub in the courtyard are beautiful. They had several special buffetts available (breakfast for 3.99, lunch 6.99, and dinner 7.99). The location is pretty good, too - only a short drive to the strip. My other option was Circus Circus (similar location and slightly higher price) and I am extremely glad I chose Palace Station again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the new tower rooms. They are newly renovated and very nice. We just stayed for the weekend and had a great time. Food was good, the comedy show was fun. I would reccomend the tower rooms but have stayed in the courtyard rooms and was highly disappointed.

Underdressed

I was totally surprised how underdressed I felt checking into my $* Hotel. I don't know what I was expecting, but obviously less than what I got. The Lobby and it's people were 1st class, and the courtyard room had a train theme and was in excellent taste. We were looking for a place to just crash for a few hours, shower, and hit the road again. We were more than pleasantly surprised. I would stay again, anytime, even when I had more time.

Good Value

Made reservation at last minute for a convention, hence value. Off the strip aprx. 1-2 miles Room had newer furnishings Charge $*/day for internet access. No wireless. Always taxis available. Casino nice + nice sports book. Several themed restaurants. Room service vey good and fast. Main restaurant great for breakfast. Half moon shaped fresh seafood bar is outstanding. Not sure what my room rate was because I bought a "package" (flight + room). Overall I was very pleased and recommend The Palace Station for the budget minded visitor to Las Vegas.

Best Feature: Seafood Bar/Rest.
