Hotel has a nice layout and our room was in the older Alexandria Tower but was clean and everything worked. We don't tend to get hung up on where we stay so much as we only showered, and slept in the room. We think for the price it was just fine. The monorail is attached to the hotel so if the weather is inclement you have an out. The monorail is very convenient and takes a fraction of the time that the bus does. Shows were good and very reasonable. Staff was friendly. We had a good experience.

I am guessing a bunch of poor people thought that they were paying "high prices" when they paid $65 a night for The Sahara. Otherwise, this place is a steal. Good deals are everywhere. It is inexpensive, speedy service, and there really is no down side. It is actually good service. There is fast transportation. The buffet is good, even better than the Rio's. If it smells like smoke, maybe vacation at a place that does not encourage behaviors detrimental to one's health? The Sahara is awesome, and I will be back!

I stayed here to celebrate my bday and although it wasnt like the luxor or any other hotel is was good for the price i payed and we hardly slept in room since we were out gambling and partying.....it was a good stay everything in room worked just minor problem with draining but no big issue

Staff was rude, did not have reserved nonsmoking room, put in a dirty smoking room, smelled like sewer, plumbing did not work, burn marks on floor. Manager not apologetic. Very run down hotel. Horrible experience!

I had stayed in Vegas many times with and without children. First time I stayed at Sahara. I liked it for what I paid for. Check in took me 5min with self check in machines. I checked out using the in-room check out on t.v. My daughter loved the pool. Was not busy and lifeguards were nice. Staff at the bar was very nice. They even gave us drinks "on the house". The only thing I hated was when I was taking a shower it would back up! I would stay there again.
