Newly remodeled. Nice touches with crown molding, wallpaper and tilework in the bathroom. Very clean. The building is old & smells old (We just sprayed a little Febreeze.) Thin walls & creaky floors (reminded me of an old apartment building). In a bad neighborhood, but the hotel itself is nice, especially considering the price. Parking is adequate (and free!) McDonalds, El Pollo Loco and Subway across the street. Final words: Nice, Cheap & Clean (on the inside, that is!) Be careful outside--remember it is downtown LA!!!!

This hotel now undergoing renovation until sep 2007. Some of rooms already opened and fantastic...^^
