Who would have known that you don't need to travel to China to experience a Chinese hotel? Having travelled extensively in third world countries, it was a surprise to find a real third-world hotel in Chicago. The room was small and spartan. The bathroom floor was dirty. A sizeable closet surprised me - but why no coat hangers? At least I didn't catch bed bugs! Oh, the "four blocks to the McCormick Place" statement - they may be the longest blocks ever.

Best Feature: The mind-broadening experience
Needs Improvement: Overall cleanliness and upkeep
